Thanksgiving Happenings in Amman

Celebrating the gratitude and togetherness of Thanksgiving in Jordan’s capital city of Amman has become a much-loved annual tradition with both locals and foreigners enjoying the fall festivities.

Whether you're looking to share a festive meal or simply enjoy the warmth of family and friends, Amman provides the perfect backdrop for creating special memories. Here are some of our favorite Thanksgiving-inspired activities to explore when traveling to Jordan during the season. 

Take a stroll in Amman's famous outdoor shopping and dining spot, Sweifeh Village and stop by Marmalade bakery to indulge in their delicious fall desserts, including the new pumpkin pecan cake and sweet potato marshmallow pie.

Enjoy a turkey feast in the comfort of your own home with a traditional Thanksgiving dinner catered especially for you and your guests by the Four Seasons Hotel Amman.

Attend the annual Amman Christmas Market in the capital's renowned downtown pedestrian area, the Abdali, that launches on Thanksgiving day. There will be live musical performances, a food market, carnival games, and a local bazaar.
