Jordan is home to an array of unique local businesses that offer a glimpse into the kingdom's rich culture and vibrant community. From eco-friendly products to organic skin care items, these local-based businesses are sure to leave a lasting impression.

1. Wild Jordan Center

Located in Jabal Amman, one of Amman’s oldest neighborhoods, Wild Jordan Center is a must-visit place. It offers locally-made products and organizes eco-friendly tours to Jordan’s nature reserves. It also features a farm-to-table restaurant and various multi-purpose spaces. The center’s main goal is to produce an income for the rural communities of the eight nature reserves in Jordan.

Lumeyo, one of the newest additions to the Meaningful Travel Map of Jordan, is a vibrant social enterprise blending sustainability, heritage, and empowerment. From olive wood toggles crafted in Amman to tasseled decorations made from recycled abayas, every piece tells a story of cultural revival and conscious fashion, empowering women and uplifting communities in underserved areas of Jordan.
