Marriott International Hotels in Jordan Launch 'Keep Jordan Clean' Campaign

Marriott International ‎Hotels in Jordan held an environmental awareness campaign "Keep Jordan Clean" to increase awareness among car drivers about the importance of keeping our environment clean.

The campaign took place in Amman, the Dead Sea, Petra and Aqaba with the aim of raising awareness about litter pollution, and educating about the proper waste disposal.

To achieve the campaign's goals, participating hotels’ teams were distributed among the selected vital areas, where Sheraton Amman Al Nabil’s team headed to City Mall, Marriott Amman to Cozmo, and W Amman to Abdali Mall. Furthermore, the campaign included a team of Dead Sea Marriott Resort & Spa team who held the initiative at the entrance of the resort, Petra Marriott Hotel in Petra Visitors Center, and a team from Al Manara, A Luxury Collection Hotel, Saraya Aqaba in the Corniche Street opposite Sharif Hussein bin Ali Mosque.

The participating teams, which included over 60 employees wearing a special uniform for this campaign, distributed awareness-raising car window stickers entitled "Keep Jordan Clean", to promote antilittering behaviors and motivate people to save the environment. Moreover, the teams distributed environmentally friendly bags for each driver to collect the trash, and dispose it in the designated spaces.

Marriott ‎International‎, represented by the group’s hotels in Jordan, is aware of its social responsibility in implementing various activities, events and policies related to the environment protection, thereby contributing to the economic development and societal welfare.
