Royal Jordanian Airlines (RJ) has announced the launch of a new direct flight connecting Jordan’s capital city of Amman with Dallas, Texas.

Starting in May 2026, the airline will operate year-round flights between Amman’s Queen Alia International Airport (QAIA) and Dallas-Fort Worth International Airport (DFW). The service will operate with the Boeing 787-8 Dreamliner aircraft and will run four times weekly: Mondays, Wednesdays, Fridays, and Sundays.

The new route will offer travelers across the United States direct access to Jordan’s richness of history, religion, and culture—from one of the Seven Wonders of the World at the ancient city of Petra, to biblical sites such as the Baptism Site of Jesus Christ (Bethany Beyond the Jordan) and Mount Nebo (where Moses saw the Holy Land), to fine dining, local and high-end shopping, a bustling art scene, and the vibrant atmosphere of Amman. Karim Makhlouf, Chief Commercial Officer of Royal Jordanian, stated that travelers "will enjoy easier access to Jordan’s rich culture and heritage, as well as seamless connections across the Gulf, Middle East, and beyond.”

Royal Jordanian is a member of the Oneworld alliance, along with the DFW-based American Airlines. The launch of the new travel route follows Royal Jordanian’s opening of weekly flights between Amman and Washington Dulles International Airport (IAD) in March of this year.

The Jordanian airline also currently operates direct flights to Chicago O’Hare (ORD), New York John F. Kennedy (JFK), Detroit Metropolitan (DTW), and Toronto and Montreal in Canada, providing travelers with an array of convenient ways to reach Jordan.
